Meet Susan Mack
Mother • Advocate • Educator • Founder
My story
Welcome! My name is Susan Mack, and I am the founder of In Trusting Hands Preschool & Kindergarten Readiness Program.
Before I became an educator and business owner, I became a mother whose life changed forever when my daughter was diagnosed with autism in 2004. That experience opened my eyes to the challenges many families face when searching for resources, support, and opportunities to help their children thrive.
In 2011, I founded In Trusting Hands with a heartfelt mission to support families raising children with autism. What began as community playgroups soon grew into much more. I organized monthly family gatherings where parents could connect, share experiences, and encourage one another. I also advocated for children by attending IEP meetings, helping families better understand the educational process and ensuring their voices were heard. In addition, I provided respite care to support caregivers and their loved ones.
These experiences strengthened my passion for helping children learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
Today, my focus is on preparing young children for success through the In Trusting Hands Preschool & Kindergarten Readiness Program. I provide personalized one-on-one instruction designed to build the foundational academic, social, and classroom skills children need before entering preschool or kindergarten.
I specialize in supporting children with autism while welcoming all children. Every child learns differently, so I create individualized learning experiences based on each child’s strengths, developmental needs, and learning style.
I believe families are a child’s first and most important teachers. My goal is to partner with families by providing encouragement, guidance, and high-quality instruction in a warm, nurturing environment where children can build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Thank you for considering In Trusting Hands. It is an honor to be part of your child’s educational journey, and I look forward to helping your family prepare for a successful start in preschool and kindergarten.
